Jesus explained to his disciples the miracle of the fig tree withering. “If you have faith and do not doubt ……if you say to the mountain ……it will happen” (emphasis, mine) There is power in words. We can’t ever underestimate their weight…. Read More ›

When we are dealing with such an in-depth topic of the human condition, I believe that the subject matter itself outweighs a simple approach to this subject. We must be careful that what is being said supports the topic clearly. There is no easy approach to looking at what makes us human.
Whether we realize it or not, we make our decisions every day based primarily upon one core and foundational decision: Who we have decided to follow. Will we choose to follow Jesus? Or will we follow self?

We must recognize that it is only the Gospel and the sight of Jesus in his saving grace that can give us faith and genuine obedience. Apart from the Gospel, the law is the most terrible burden and can lead us to either despair or the delusion of self-righteousness.
Choose to declare the Word of God over your life. Declare His Word in every area of your life. Declare His Word in every season of your life. His Word is powerful. His Word is active. His Word is energizing.
Your gifts, talents and abilities were placed inside of you by God for His Pleasure and Delight, and through your submission and obedience, every gift and aspect of your life was created to give Christ Glory.
